Description
This is an original 1972 Yamaha XS-650 (XS2). It was purchased brand new by my father in law. When he passed away last year, we found the bike stored in his basement. I had the fine folks at Vallantine MotorWorks go through it and get it up and running. This is NOT a restored bike. It has a small scratch on the tank, as well as a very small dent on the side of the tank (only visible in certain lighting). TO the best of my knowledge, this is an all original bike, with the exception of new tires and mirrors. The petcocks leak, but other than that I don't know of any issues. The bike is currently stored at my place in Stanwood, but I am happy to transport it to Seattle for interested buyers.
